2/11/2019 Robeson County Schools Union Chapel Elementary Christina McMillan, Assistant Principal  The first day of the week will be the kickoff for the drivers. Breakfast will be served to them by our cafeteria staff as well as posting of the posters around our campus in recognition of Bus Drivers appreciation week.  Each grade level will be assigned a specific driver to shower with tokens of appreciation throughout the week.  Our Cheerleaders will serenade the drivers on the afternoon of the week and possibly throughout the week.  Our art department will create cards for the drivers as well as special ornaments for keepsake tokens of the event.
2/13/2019 Henderson County Schools Sugarloaf Elementary Kathy Jones/Assistant Principal
Students will make bus driver appreciation cards and they will be delivered to the drivers on Feb. 14th. The bus drivers will participate in a Bus Driver Appreciation Breakfast on Feb. 13th.    We will also hold a Bus Driver Appreciation Parade. The drivers will walk down each hall while students show their appreciation with signs, high-fives, and appreciations chants.

2/11/2019 Brunswick County Schools Waccamaw School  Jane Grey Browning, M.S.Ed., Ed.S./Assistant Principal,  During the week and throughout the year, we provide same tokens of appreciation to our drivers including, but not limited to food, gift cards, and notes of appreciation.  We thank all bus drivers across the State as it is a very important part of the Public School System.
2/11/2019 Johnston County Schools Wilson's Mills elementary Andrea Jones/ Principal Each day they will receive a special treat and on Wednesday, they will be served lunch and on Friday they will be served a breakfast.  We love and appreciate all our drivers.  
2/22/2019 Cumberland County School Loyd E. Auman Elementary Dr. Queesha Tillman we will be hosting a collaborative celebration for all the regular bus drivers, sub drivers, and EC drivers in the Seventy-First School district in Cumberland County. The theme for this celebration is "The Bus Oscars"! We celebrate ALL 71st district Bus Drivers & CCS Transportation in RED CARPET style with a LIVE DJ rocking all the old school and new school jams from 6:30 to 8:00 pm. Refreshments will be served.
2/14/2019 Guilford County Schools Southeast Guilford Middle School Caitlin Fisher/ teacher We will be setting up buffet a breakfast for the bus drivers. This has become an annual event. We make a banner that the students sign as well.

2/15/2019 Edenton Chowan Public Schools D. F. Walker Elementary School Trisha Walton, Assistant Principal and School Bus Coordinator D. F. Walker Elementary School and White Oak Elementary School have collaborated to plan an appreciation luncheon for our bus drivers.  During this luncheon, bus drivers will receive a lunch box filled with sweet treats to end "Love the Bus Week" activities.  We will start the week with Donuts and coffee as a Monday morning treat.  On Tuesday we will have "Kid letters, Cards and Cokes."  On Wednesday our drivers will receive  "Soap and Sugar Daddies," and on Thursday, for Valentines Day, we will give Valentines Candy and Kudos.  Each gift will include safety tips for our drivers and notes of appreciation.  Our drivers have a very important role in ECPS!  We want to make sure they realize their importance!

2/13/2019 Columbus  County Schools Old Dock School Principal We will have Breakfast for drivers, kids will draw pics thanking bus drivers, snacks throughout the week.  Signs and banners!!!  We LOVE our buses!!
2/11/2019 Guilford County Schools Christine Joyner Greene Education Center Hilary McEachern CTE Teacher and Kris Hoyle, School Social Worker Providing goodies and handmade cards of appreciation from our students throughout the week.
2/19/2019 Cumberland County W.H. Owen Elementary School  Latreicia Allen, Assistant Principal The dedicated bus drivers of William H. Owen Elementary School will be recognized each week with sweet treats. They will be featured each day on the school's social media page. Fun facts about school transportation will be shared during morning announcements. On Wednesday, February 20, the school bus drivers will be presented a luncheon and participate in the second annual Great Roadrunner Ride Along where community leaders and district educators will ride the buses during the afternoon routes. We love our bus drivers at William H. Owen Elementary!

2/13/2019 Cumberland County Raleigh Road Elementary  Cherissee Shepard/ Assistant Principal  We will celebrate with students making cards for driver and will be given to them as they enjoy cake. They will also revive a certificate and candy with messages throughout the week.

2/14/2019 Nash County Schools Middlesex Elementary School Kim Clarke, Assistant Principal On Feb. 14th, our MES staff and students will celebrate our 8 bus drivers with a Love the Bus Driver Breakfast. Cards, letters and pictures will be given to the drivers created by our MES students. Each driver will receive a special goody bag to thank them for their commitment, dependability and service to our school.

2/14/2019 Guilford County Schools Jamestown Middle TaWuana Cook/Assistant Principal All week students will be telling their bus drivers thank you vocally, and with personal cards. On Thursday, Feb. 14th, during bus dismissal, bus drivers will be presented with a Certificate and a Bag of goodies with special thank you cards from students that ride the bus. Students also signed a Giant Poster/Card that thanks the drivers for all they do!
