North Carolina State Fair

The Public Schools of North Carolina will once again partner with the North Carolina State Highway Patrol to bring a safety exhibit to the state fair. The fair runs October 13-22 at the state fairgrounds in Raleigh. The state fair provides a unique opportunity to bring important school bus safety messages to the general public. Buster the bus will be at the exhibit and school district transportation staff as well as NCPTA districts are encouraged to participate, handing out stickers and explaining to visitors about the safety aspects of today's school bus.

 

Shifts are 9-1, 1-5, 5-9 with three people (including a Buster operator) per shift. For more information contact Derek Graham - dgraham@dpi.state.nc.us
